The Atlanta Hawks traded star Trae Young to the Washington Wizards and while some are touting this as a “blockbuster” trade, Dan downgrades it to simply a “buster.” Young isn’t nearly the star he once was and wasn’t even the best player on the Hawks before they dealt him.
Dan Patrick: “It's not a blockbuster. It's not a stunning trade. I saw that headline. It was stunning that maybe he wanted to go to the Wizards. Like, ‘This is stunning!’ But yeah, blockbuster? It was just a trade. You know, this has been in the works. You know, last year, there was talk of trading Trae Young. But you know what? Those headline writers, they got you to click. Blockbuster deal. Yes, Marvin.”
Marvin Prince: “Luca (Dončić) going to the Lakers is a blockbuster.”
Dan: “That's a blockbuster.”
Marvin: “Trae Young? Oh, okay. About time.”
Dan: “Got to come up with a lesser word. How about ‘buster,’ not ‘blockbuster?’ It's a buster deal.”
