Rob Parker: "Joe Burrow & Patrick Mahomes' 'Rivalry' is Clearly One-Sided"

“Rob Parker: “It’s not a rivalry! It’s lopsided and one-sided! In order for it to be a real rivalry, there has to be some give and take, and Joe Burrow has taken it all. I understand it’s a small sample size, but Burrow is undefeated at 3-0... It’s pretty shocking to believe that Mahomes has let to beat him, especially in the ways they’ve lost these games... I believed for a long time that Ohio State and Michigan was a dead rivalry until recent. Mahomes needs to win a few to prove he can compete with Burrow.”
Chris Broussard: “I disagree because Patrick Mahomes has achieved so much more than Joe Burrow. They’re both young and in the early part of their career, but Mahomes has a Super Bowl (he’s played in two), Super Bowl MVP and a regular season MVP. So to me, because he’s achieved so much he has some ground in their head to head comparisons. Burrow has yet to win a Super Bowl, heck, he hasn’t been elected to the Pro Bowl. He has Mahomes’ number head-to-head, but it balances out.”

The Odd Couple’s Chris Broussard and Rob Parker debate the rivalry between Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes. Rob believes this matchup is hardly a rivalry considering Burrow has dominated their head-to-head meetings, while Chris feels Mahomes is a rivalry because he’s accomplished so much.
