Vobora was selected by the St. Louis Rams with the final pick (252nd overall) in the 2008 NFL draft, earning him the title of Mr. Irrelevant. However, a series of devastating shoulder injuries left him with an addiction to painkillers. The drugs left him helpless, standing on the balcony of a Hawaiian hotel while on vacation, threatening to jump. But it was not until he went through a detox, losing 34 pounds, that he began to listen to the motivator inside him. He is now using that inner voice to helping others. David’s story is truly remarkable!
