Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis added to his already large fortune ahead of the 2021 NFL season.

TMZ reports Davis won $1,800 during a single turn while playing the Wheel of Fortune slots at the Virgin Hotel in Sin City last Tuesday (September 7) night, six days prior to the Raiders' 33-27 overtime win against the Baltimore Ravens to kick off the new season on Monday (September 13) night.

Davis, the son of late longtime Raiders owner and Pro Football Hall of Famer Al Davis, inherited the franchise after his father's death in 2011 and owns a 47% share of the Raiders with his mother, giving them controlling interest.

The 66-year-old businessman has day-to-day control over the organization.

The Raiders played their first game ever with fan attendance at Allegiant Stadium on Monday night. The domed stadium initially opened in 2020, but the franchise did not allow attendance last season amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Las Vegas kicker Daniel Carlson connected on a 55-yard field goal with 0:02 remaining in the fourth quarter to force overtime during Monday's game.

Quarterback Derek Carr connected on a 31-yard touchdown pass to Zay Jones to give the Raiders the victory in overtime.

Las Vegas will face the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 2 with both teams coming off big wins in the opening weekend.
